  • PNP. Nose of flowers, earth and cherry. Cherries dominate the palate at first then more earthy mineral flavors start to take hold. Medium bodied wine with nice length. Overall a nice wine, but not particularly thought provoking.

    SS 89pts.

  • I wanted to drink a bottle with my dinner because we were going to have a prosciutto pasta dish with two salads to start. A red leaf and tomato with a lemon garlic dressing plus a second shrimp, avocado & red onion salad. I read up on which of my wines would be reasonable to drink without feeling like I opened it too early so I took a chance on the Pommard because it's value has been in decline for the past few months. I' m glad I did too. The wine is delicious right now and could be kept a little while longer, but it's close to the peak IMO. Leather nose with figs and cherry. A medium to light body with dark fruit on the palate that is luscious and complex with smoky hints. Beutiful with all of the dishes.
