Rather faint floral, honeysuckle nose, but full-flavored. Paired well with chicken and pesto. This bottle was forgotten in the cellar and I thought it might be past its prime, but it had aged nicely and developed a beautiful honey color and a soft mouthfeel. Like all Stratus wines, this was among the best that the Niagara Peninsula offers, but the high prices of their wines (typically between USD 40 - 60, and that's at the tasting room) are hard to justify against many other wines of equivalent quality and craftsmanship.

Drank over 2 days. First day was dominated by sweet fruits (peach, melon and a touch of citris). Second day wine developed a petrol and minerality that actually complemented the fruit well. It seemed to balance th ewine a bit. Drink now.

As before, tastes like there's residual sugar (too much) and just not enough backbone. I'm surprised that this is still being sold at the winery because this feels like it is several years past its prime.

Bland. Peach and apricot; needed more acid to balance
