Mid colour with orange rim. Earthy scented nose with background of cherries, full cherry / strawberry fruit on the palate in a herby aromatic wrap. Very enjoyable and good value.

From a lesser known appellation of Coste della Sesia at northern part of Piedmont. 65% Nebbiolo, 20%, Vespolina & 15% Croatina. Dark ruby core, lifted dark fruits nose with typical Nebbiolo perfume along with fresh floral, dark cherry, subtle earth and tar. Soft and fruity palate, showing sour cherry, earth, tar and herbs. Smooth finish with a soft grippy finish. This is very approachable with ample primary fruits.

Light ruby red with aromas of rich red fruit and cherries. It was balanced, very smooth, dry, integrated and clean. It had rich cherry cola flavors. It had a clean, rich and dry finish. This bottle did not have as much tobacco and spice flavors as last.

Ruby red with aromas of red fruit, tobacco and spice. It was balanced, very smooth and clean rich cherry flavors and spice on the palate. It had a nice clean rich finish....excellent! The secondary elements are coming out. This was much better than my previous tastings.

We ultimately concluded this was mildly corked. The nose was muted and a hint of the TCA came out with swirling and on the finish. Still, clearly a wine of pedigree, medium weight with silky texture and strawberry and spice character of Nebbiolo. I suspect a pristine example would be very impressive.

Blend: Nebbiolo, Vespolina and Croatina. Light ruby color, very nice violet bouquet that made me thrill (really!). Strawberries at the mouth, light bodied, kind of feminine wine that reminds of a good bourgogne, with good accidity and velvety tannins.

Excellent nebbiolo based wine. The style is fruit forward and the quality of the fruit is excellent. The tannins were very smooth. This will never pass for a Barolo or Barbaresco, but it doesn't have to to be enjoyable.

Wild strawberry notes that evolved through the evening;musky french barrel notes that bordered on on being corked but the palate was good. One more bottle to go that we will drink sooner than later

4th from a 6 pack - some bottle variation but this was the best yet. Deep ruby with a cherry drop, rose blossom, and tarry nose. Very pretty/feminine and reminds me of nice forward style burgundy.

Lovely light red fruit and Italian earth; my first nebbiolo blend felt a little thin, but I'm certain that's because I'm more used to the heavier brunellos and barolos. A lovely wine, drinks young nicely. I look forward to trying more and learning more from this region...

This is why I like Old World wines - lovely fruit with earthy flavours, coupled with lively acidity to keep things fresh and interesting. Proper nose (sweet berries, strawberries), body and complexity. This has a good weight on the palate, with flavours of slightly sour tannins and subtle tannins. Finish is a bit short though.

Soft for the grape, could be mistaken for a rich Pinot Noir but none the worse for it. Rich cherry with hints of spice and tobacco provided good levels of interest with well integrated tannins. The finish provides a persistent thread of acidity with more cherry fruit. Delicious!

Garnet color with hints of orange/brown toward the edge which surprised me for a young wine. Spicy red fruit on the nose and palate. Not really overly aromatic but the palate showed some nice nebbiolo traits with tart cherry flavors, high acid, medium+ tannin. I think this wine would have shown better with a decanting but still very good but at this price point, you could be in barbaresco or barolo.

Ruby red wiht aromas of red fruit...pinot noir aromas. Balanced, dry, spicy and easy drinking....not an intense nebbiolo but more delicate. Very nice blend.

I didn't take detailed notes, but I really enjoyed sipping a glass of this over the course of an evening. Since the weather has been hot, I put the remainder in the refrigerator to preserve, and had another glass a few nights later while still chilled, which was a lovely treat and worked well due to the low tannins and good acidity. I wish I had more than one bottle left of this as I'd really like to see how it evolves over time. Right now the main impression is of wonderful freshness and fruit.

deep, rich, dark cherried, herby nose. enveloping rich velvet mouth, dark jammy fruit, gentle tingling acidity, finishes with a nice bitterness to the fruit, not much tannin. delicious

Nose: Very floral notes with some hoisin sauce, pepper, spice and smoke. A very unique and interesting wine on the nose, never experienced it before hence I'm not too sure how to place this.
Taste: Very smooth on the palate, despite being just opened. Fresh red raspberries along with some secondary white fruit notes which made this wine very interesting. A lighter style of wine, almost like a Pinot in terms of body but flavours are very unique but delicious nevertheless. Would like to see how this wine tastes after decanting.

initial buzz settled down within an hour; the richness is not too much fruit, but an assortment of flavors including cherry, prunes, chocolate and a little earth that gives this wine a nice staying power; drink or cellar; we will open about every half year or so

To me this is a big rich wine, sour cherry, pepper, spice, leather..... I think the freshness is marred by oak.... This is like a very good Cali cab, but doesn't taste like nebbiolo to me.
Probably too new world.
