7/22/12 - Nothing left here but nutiness; The CT suggested drinking window is wildly off (80 pts)
8/23/12 - I'm coming back to this note for two reasons - first, because I'm enjoying this wine much better than my first go at it; Still shows a lot of oxidation and the nutty aged profile to go with it; However, it is now also showing some nice apricot fruit; Very nice acidity; Clean finish; It's become a very enjoyable wine - second, because when I came back to this I realized that this (open) bottle had been under nitrogen for a month, not something I would typically do but it was forgotten in the Winekeeper and not only did it hold, it improved

Beautiful wine. Rimmerman's description of melted glacier and flowers is dead on. Impeccable balance, with a texture like high-end sake. So refreshing, I could drink this every day ... out of a mason jar. Wow.

The nose had pear, apple, mineral and floral aromas. There really was a lot going on right from the bottle. The palate was very smooth, and almost slightly creamy. Great pear, citrus and some apple flavors followed by a mineral aftertaste. Nice length finish. This bottle was a huge hit, and I wished I had bought more.

Dark golden color and nutty flavors starting to take hold. Not offensive yet, but it is certainly oxidized.
