PNP, med. gold, lemon, pineapple & vanilla, same on the palate but a touch of bitterness on the med. finish; very good but I suspect that this bottle is on the decline

Powerful and full bodied but still light and agile. Orchard fruits, citrous, mint and toast on the nose. Oily mouth feel but well integrated and prominent acidity balance the body very well. Great sweet fruit up front ends with nice clean citrus notes.

Really in a great drinking window. Shows lemon chiffon, mandarin, and some sweet pineapple. This needs a couple of hours to open in the glass. The body is robust but well balanced and nuanced. Drink in next 2-3 years.

Consistent with prior notes - Valerie loves this wine. Had at home with grilled scallops and zucchini. Its a big Calif Chardonnay, but it does work with seafood or other foods you may think need something more crisp.
The wine is still right in its zon - seems like it has a while to go - no signs of real aging other than the color is getting deeper gold

Post weekend celebration - decided to splurge on one more great bottle for the weekend...give it time to open, don't serve too cold...
Rich, gold/yellow color. Nose of oak and apples, some oiliness that fades. Palate follows nose, lemon curd, lime, citrus, butter, vanilla, butter. Fresh acidity.
Really elegant wine. This vintage was a little off so you may find stronger showings from Pahlmeyer...but this is a gorgeous wine drinking well right now

This is always a nice wine in my experience. Creamy, oak fruit balance is nice. This bottle was a little off from last one, popped and poured so it may not have had the time to open

pinetop memorial day party. one of two bottles contributed/consumed with consistent notes. not quite up to a recent previous taste, but solid. i generally prefer the sonoma version over the napa.

Big moment has arrived. Beautiful rich buttery yellow color. Very viscous wine. Heirloom apples, white flowers and a touch of citrus and minerals on the nose. Refined lemon curd with integrated vanilla, sweet butter coats the mouth, Amazing, elegant unique wine. flavors are perfectly integrated. Balance is perfection. This wine is extraordinary. Will certainly get more tomorrow at lunch. How refreshing. An American Chardonnay that is finally worth its premium price. Best American Chardonnay either of us have ever experienced. Bravo!

Very very good. Deep golden with slight greenish hue. A full nose mostly of stone fruits with some citrus and minerals. Layered flavors aligning with the nose and extending to a crisp acid tone near the finish that balances the early richness to produce an extrodinary and pleasing flavor sequence. 92-94.

Erica's 35th B-Day sipper before supper. The best white wine I have ever tasted. Embarrassingly this wine made me cry. Gorgeous buttery notes on the nose but it was in the mouth where magic happens. Intoxicating flavours of brioche. There is a tannin content from the oak that combines beautifully with the acid to make a great finish. Absolutely sublime.

Similar to prior note except that there is no drying on the med/long finish; delicious, & ready to drink. Clearly a better bottle!

Aromas of lemon, stone fruits with a strong backbone of oak. Went well with Thanksgiving dinner.
