Lovely nose; RRV red fruit, now fading a bit, moderate complexity, some cedar and warmth on the finish, which the fruit might have concealed a few years ago. Good, but not as good as i recall.

At Ai Fiori in NYC, second wine of the evening, followed a Marcassin Pinot...unintended but tough comparison. PnP, drank over 30 minutes.
Nice ruby color. Nos was a little reticent at first, with red fruits and floral notes coming through towards the end. Fruit forward cherry, dark raspberry, cherry cola and bramble. Medium finish.
Modest complexity, the group like this

Ruby red with no hint of brown edge. Decent nose of red fruits upon opening. But weak in taste as if it was watered down. Very little fruit in the mouth. And it doesn't show any complexity. It was not balanced among fruits, acid, and alcohol. Short finish. The wine didn't improved over the next couple hours.

What an exquisite wine! Like drinking a bouquet of spring flowers plus wonderful flavors of bright red intense cherry, cola and flowers once again. THE absolute favorite wine of the evening.

Nice WS bottling. Darker and more saturated rustic fruit than some others I've tasted. Dark raspberry, darker gray pepper, a bit of forest floor. The palate was bigger as well. More of the same dark cherry cola, bramble berries, menthol and a touch of pine. Nice finish. I think overall I prefer the lighter styled wine they produce but this was a fun bottle as I've been waiting to try their Precious Mountain Pinot for some time.

One of the best Pinot noir's I had in a long time . It needed a little time to open but Once it did, a bomb. Just listened to Quicksilver Messenger Service album. A perfect compliment. Cherry, long finish. Perfect.

Just terrific! Light, fruity, great finish. Drinking so well right. Even better than a year ago. Disappointed these were my last 2 bottles of 2008.

Better drink this up now. Pleasing and balanced as is, but almost too light with duck

Our of mag, way better than the last 750. Much more weight, fruit brighter, good acidity. Home run wine in this format.

Excellent. full fruit CA pinot noir. Age mellowed the acid and tannins. The best of the overblown CA pinots.

Bigger, richer than many WS vineyards, yet still elegant and refined. Ripe fruit with nice acidity, finishing with oak and smoke.
