Light red colour with brick orange brim. Intense aroma of mature cherries with hints of tobacco, tar, herbs and some meatiness. Full bodied and somewhat spicy taste with sandy tannins. Notes of cherries, tobacco, tar, chocolate and roses. Good, in a quite traditional style.

A light nebbiolo with beautiful ruby colour. Grape typic and elegant. The wood is well integrated. A slight biteriness. Could have had more fruit but a very good wine nevertheless.

Swe: Klarröd tegelfärg i gränslandet mot granatäpple. Frisk men ngt knuten doft trots 2,5 h i karaff.

Had this wine a second time. The wine was quite unbalanced from the start and althought I gave the wine a lot of air, there was no real improvement. And the cherries were sour througout our dinner and for the rest of the evening. A real disappointment, in other words. Did not finish the bottle.

Very good craftmanship at a favorable price. Can one buy anyhting cheaper from Piemonte than this? I paid circa 20 euro. Fruity yet elegant and very balanced. Gave the bottle 30 minutes of air or so.

Ruby fading to a narrow tawny rim. Shy but focused nose offering red fruit, spices, smoke and vanilla. Oak is well blended in, mostly old. Dry on palate with refreshing acidity, medium + robust and ripe tannins that lead the way to medium + alcohol and body. Pronounced flavour intensity of sour cherries, spices/liquorice and tea leaves. This wine has great sructure profile and good balance. Overall a very good wine that is well-defined and well-structured. Can evolve for more than 6-8 years.

Rather uninteresting wine. Unbalanced, tannic. Not worthewhile.

Licorice, herbs and austere tannines. Evolving nicely in the glass, but feels a bit weak.
