Perfect day 2, even with some complexity. Easy to enjoy and the cabernet sauvignon is more appearant this time. A hig quality wine with a favorable pricetag. Poliziano certainly delivers once again. All four of us really enjoyed this wine.

Right after opening the wine on the whole is fairly closed, but the palate is more open than I had expected. The taste is very predictable: Ripe cherries (is there any Italian redwine that not tastes cherries?). Very balanced and harmoneus. After an hour of air or so the wine is very fruity and to me it is a bit too much. I would say full body.
Wait 2-3 year, is my guess.

I really liked this one. Yes it was young, but this is a Supertuscan that's not over-oaked. Sweet and deep cassis flows out of the glass, it comes with licorice, herbs, almost a touch something nutlike, a touch of flowers, a whiff of milky chocolate, nice minerality. The taste mirror what you get on the nose, but I think the acidity which have citrus-qualities, gives this one a huge lift. Tannins are round and ripe but are there. This was a pleasure already but will probably get a little bit better down the road, say in 3-5 years. Outstanding.

Lots of fruit, with solid acidity. Balanced, with long taste. Maybe we drunk it too young, but it is till very good right now.

Dark fruit with hints of tobacco. Lots of coffee makes this wine a bit too modern for us.
