Tasted at John's lobster festival. Beautifully subtle Sonoma chardonnay, in perfect condition at 14 years of age. Not a fruit bomb: there's apple and apricot and something floral on the nose, a bit of citron on the palate, while the oak/vanilla/caramel notes dominate the flavor profile as it glides down your throat. Light golden color in the glass, 14% abv covered, long finish. Golde said it was "sweet" but that's the impression the butterscotch notes make, there is plenty of acidity here.

This 10 yr old Carneros Chardonnay is a deep yellow/gold color at the core. It shows off pretty aromas of orchard fruits, honey, hazelnut, wet stones, and a hint of ginger spice. The flavors are of ripened Gala apple flesh, apricot, honeydew melon, drizzled in honey with a hint of white pepper. The mouthfeel is lush and expansive, and although this wine is not in my typical favorite flavor profile, it offers up undeniably delicious fruits, with tense acidity and a long and complex finish. A very nice example of an oaky Chardonnay, and one I am enjoy far more than I would have thought. Drink now through 2020.

Pop and pour. In the glass, pale yellow. On the nose, apples and oak. On the palate, lemon, oak, and citrus and tropical fruits in the background, with rich texture on the palate and ample acid.

Tastes overtoaked when just out of the refrigerator, but at the correct temperature this is buttery, creamy, golden delicious apples, apricot , and some citrus notes. Both big and full bodied this was Delcious with chicken salad.

Aromas of hazelnut, mango, creme brûlée and banana. Nose seems much more advanced than the last time I had it. Flavors of creme brûlée, papaya, lemon meringue and ends with a smokiness on the finish. Finish sails of for about 35 seconds. Not quite as good as last time but still a top Chardonnay.

Straw yellow. Freshly cut apple, mango, and vanilla on the nose that also shows up on the palate. Rich ripe pineapple and lime compliments the other flavors. Hints of butter and Golden Delicious apples. Great finish, exceptional complexity and balance.
Opened with Coravin , tasted over 1 hour, glass pour and not just a tasting pour for the note.

This Chard was on point tonight. Glad I aged this for 7 years. Still flashing powerful ripe white fruit but with ample nuance and finish. Pears and a touch of green apple with floral notes and honey on the finish.

Nice rich golden yellow color. Nose has medium oak, pear, lime zest and light fruit. Nice mouthfeel, buttery, white peach, pear. Oak is fairly well integrated and not overbearing. Improving with age. Still fairly bright tasting with good acidity.

Again, this is a big, oaky Cali Chardonnay. It does have some very good depth and complexity going on, with some minerality and acidity at its core that keeps it from being flabby, but for me I can't get past the oak. My wife really enjoys this wine , so the score is hers.

Medium gold color. Citrus nose. Rich California Chardonnay, very much in the CA style: oak, butterscotch, green apples, citrus/lime. Oak is there in a big way - but integrated.
More acidic than other DuMols, may have aging potential from here, but in a good spot. Probably will not improve much. I prefer the Isobel, but this is an elegant wine

Big rich Cali chard in every aspect with strong butterscotch notes on the long finish. My wife loves this style so I had her score it, for me, not so much.

Solid, a bit steely. Similar compared to the appellation blend but there is less oak presence. I prefer the appellation blend since the oak adds character and balance to these wines, IMO.

Lovely medium golden color. Nose is of citrus green apple and peach. Rather elegant and a bit austere but not in a bad way. This wine has a lot of acidity for long aging and low oak that will allow it to age Ina a balanced way. Flavors are not overpowering but a bit subtle and very interesting. Lots of minerality frame tropical fruits qnd apple and peach Needs both breathing and age to come into its own.

Lovely. Clearly CA Chard, but in the best sense possible. Racy and minerally with good lemon acidity. Oak perfectly integrated and playing a supporting role. I loved it. At Sage for lunch.

Golden yellow in color. Nose with lemon curd, apple juice, peach, and stone fruit. Palate is zippy with just a touch of creaminess which was nice. Beautiful complexity and lingering finish. Not as full bodied as the Russian River chards if you like that. But I think more integrated and transparent.

One of the best Chardonnay we ever had. This wine was elegant; possessing a richness without being overly buttery. Absolutely smooth and balance with supple seductive mouth feel.

This was my first experience with a dumol reserve chardonnay and I am not disappointed at all. Was double decanted and served at about 60 degrees. Nice crisp tropical fruit nose, the palette starts butterry and oaky but gives way to the minerality and perfectly balanced acidity on the finish. Nice fruit as well, but I didn't take any notes. Great stuff

This wine displayed both elegance and power. A very balanced wine with tons of citrus fruits but melded perfectly with the creamy oak. Will only get better with time.

Expected a big oaky chard. Granted it's full bodied but carries it well. Possibly age has worked off the baby fat, but regardless a tremendous wine.
