This is a stunning wine. I had many of tuenbedt German Rieslings and this is definitely up there. Amazing minerality, mango and apricot aromas. Super well balanced and phantastically long aftertaste. Absolutely stunning to drink now, but colour, smell and taste are like a young wine still. Definitely 10 more years in it, probably more.

Light yellow leaning towards white; mineral, hint of pear; somewhat neutral taste, mellow lichen fruit; quite nice, but not quite sure what to make out of it

Ernst Loosen Tasting at Hearth (New York, NY): Lovely nose evocative of Dove soap, shampoo. Nicest balance of all GGs tasted, both Erdener Pralats were my favorites (auslese as well). Loosen agrees this is exemplary balance in this vintage. Steep slopes: the top of Pralat is insane, straight down.
