Decanted for about 2 hours, lots of sediment so was concerned as this was past the drink date. A little flat but still god fruit taste. Enjoyable with steak dinner.

Full bodied with a glint of purple on the rim. Lots of dark fruit but starting to turn barnyard which i not my thing. Tannins had softened to zero. My last bottle but on this one I think I waited a little too long.

Palate is quite dry and tannic. Thinner in body than I anticipated. Almost delicate. Definitely red fruits coming through, very little oak, and a huge tannic finish. I'd actually consider giving this another 2-4 years to let the tannins die down.
All in all paired great with a steak.

not a bad little middle-aged cab. Nothing to write home bout, though, and at $80 in 2002 is should be. A nice $30 wine. Much better than WS writeup; mellowed a lot with age.

Decanted for 2 hours. Tasted like the reviews...dry and tannic but bold. Softened up with food and was enjoyable. Should have waited longer to open this bottle...have one more and will wait.

Great bottle. Good fruit, nice complex flavors in mid palate, smooth finsh. Prefectly balanced now. Prime time to drink this wine.

Decanted for about 2 hours. Somewhat dry/tannic, tobacco, oak, and a little vanilla. Time to drink, in my opinion.

Cherry. Cherry pits if not decanted. Decanting hurts - makes the taste flat.

Drinking beautifully now - DEFINITELY DECANT!
Huge nose of strawberry preserves and vanilla.
