Wine Maker Notes
By Chris Burroughs
Darkly brooding, ruggedly graceful, mysterious in a friendly way, open yet reserved at the same time, utterly charming… in a word, “Clooney-esque”… Earthy and forest-y, suggestive of black fruits and berries and dark spice… a swarthy wine to accompany a really good Stilton, almost any grilled or roasted meat or game, or pasta in a gorgonzola sauce.
