La Côte is a unique, estate vineyard that showcases the distinct soil types of Sta. Rita Hills. With the ideal combination of clay and silex with layers of decomposed diatomaceous earth, La Côte sits just 7 miles from the Pacific Ocean. This marginal site and Sandhi’s westernmost vineyard manages to barely ripen Pinot Noir.
The wine is now highly aromatic, offering up a heady combination of deep red fruits and a salty, umami core. This wine will sing at the table with roasted foul or a rich bowl of ramen.
