The Vigna Martina is a vineyard that is located near Elio Grasso's Gavarini Barolo vineyard. This Barbera is handled like a Barolo in the winery, with extended maceration, then aged for 15 months in equal parts new and once used oak barrels, and finally aged in bottle an additional 6 months before release.
