Slow-O 1 hr, could have used 60 minutes in decanter. Slight signs of age, cork in good/avg condition. Nearly all horse poo, dust, old leather at first. With 10 minutes (and lots of swirling) in the glass, some fruit elements slowly emerge - cherries, red currant, some loam and cranberry - on the nose and the palate. However, the acids are completely dominating the fruits and the tannins, having fully integrated a long time ago, aren't there to lend any support, either. What's left is a food wine, not something to be drunk on its own. 14,0% abv, drink now, as it's not getting any better.

Dark. Big berry nose. Fruit and oak evident on the palate but it is all integrated. Soft and lush with good concentration and a long finish that ends bright. Very good quality overall in a modern style and very good at the table. Drink now or hold short term.

Juicy, fresh, matured but still fruity (bramble, sloes). Balanced and long.

Killer juice. Showing great at the moment. Wonderful fruit richness, transparent oak integration, classic acidity, and just plain savory.
