This was a stunningly beautiful wine. Rich lemon zest and floral aromatics with balancing acidity. I could see this adding weight and gaining complexity with age, but fantastic now. Paired with miso Chilean sea bass beautifully. Thank you, markandsusanw for the generous CTSS gift!

I should know better by now than to get the Garagiste mystery wines. Great for those who like big, bold, and hot. Not so much for others. I fall into the latter.

2018 Rasa Vineyards Riesling The Composer

Opened for Last Puppy Night. Clean notes and acidity really shone in this. Perfect palate cleanser with chicken tikka masala, saag aloo, samosas, and pakoras. Consumed over three days, the second half of the bottle on night three showed no decline at all, still showing nice and bright.
