Still going very strong. Started thin, gained weight after just 15 min, and stayed ripe and focused for a couple hours thereafter. Not much (if any) signs of secondary development, beyond acquiring some elegance. High acid keeps it really fresh.

Clearly outstanding, with dark berries, smoke, meat and chocolate flavors on a very refined frame. This will improve with bottle age, try again in maybe 4-5 years?

Definitely mature, with honeyed mineral notes enhanced by dried apricot flavors in a wine that was brick orange in color. Remarkably, the wine actually became more brighter and more focused in the glass, so fans of this style could probably get away with waiting a couple more years to drink. But why take the chance - drink now.
