Balanced, deep, multi-layered CdR blanc of excellent qualities. Smooth, silky, almost a bit oily in a good sence but nevertheless fresh, vibrant. Is near of the beginning of its peak. Drinking window of 4-10 years after harvest should be fine. Best to drink in the big (Burgundy) glass at around 12° C. Very versatile food pairings from sea-fish to poultry to all kind of - even spicy - asian dishes. Great QPR!

After a bit more than 4 years after harvest this great CdR reached the beginning of the drinking window, that will therefore probably lie betwen 4.5 and 9 years after harvest. Once again a proof that excellent CdR's do have significant aging potential. Fresh, elegant, airy but also deep, long and multi-layered. An expression af great terroirs, very old vines, and a knowledgable winemaking in concrete tanks. Great great value for money indeed! Will most probably age wonderfully and maybe even reach the 90 Pt. mark at its peak!

What a huge disappointmen! After 8 years out of an only mediocre vintage 2012 in Tuscany, this should be accessible and ready to drink now. What I experienced is rather an unbalanced, one-dimensional and abstringent (both in the Chianti as well as in the Bordeaux-Glass) kind of Brunello with not much hope for improvement in the future, I am sorry to say. Maybe I was unlucky to get a faulty bottle - but there were no typical signs of a spoiled wine ...
