Terrific white southern Rhone, light honey, low acidity, very light oak, 80% Clairette, 20% Roussanne, 13.5% alc., refreshing, sophisticated, good length and complex finish. Paired with Chilean sea bass. First tried & enjoyed with Lyonnaise cuisine 2 years ago at Machon luncheon at Bar Boulud.

Mature, impression is of power rather than any particular fruit flavor, yet highly drinkable, good match with dry-aged strip steak and mushroom tagliatelle. Throwing significant sediment, left about a half of a glass in the bottom of the uncorked bottle when decanting, forgot about it until the next day, and it still tasted as lively and enjoyable as the day before.

World-class white, refreshing, terrific finish with a pleasant touch of muskiness, popped and poured and enjoyed with steamed Maine lobster. From prior experience, more bright acidity in its youth, but more nuanced at this age.
