Such a great value. This is wine ticks all the boxes of an aged classic Haut-Médoc. Nice integrated tannins, plum, noble wood, good acidity. Always a pleasure to drink this producer.

Very good discovery. Good structure but fine, fresh, on the dark cherry side. Everything is in balance and makes it a great food paring wine (lamb). To buy again.

Tasted with Coravin over 1 month and opened the bottle for the last two glasses. With Coravin, it was rather muted. After pouring the two last glasses, I let them breathe for 1h. Really great showing. It gained weight on the palate and became a decent 1er cru of mercury. Not overly complex, but you can find what makes Burgundy interesting in other regions than Côte d'Or: Red berries, musk, spices and nice fine tannins, with medium depth and length. It would wonderfully pair with bird games. A old value for the price, when prices in Burgundy are skyrocketing!
