Good acidity, medium tannins and acid. Markedly more complexity than the standard CdR with flavours of red fruits, sour cherry, mocha, iron and garrigue. Great qpr.

Expressive and aromatic Champagne. Loads of fresh green apple, peaches and freshly baked brioche. Light on the palette with a really delicious freshness and vibrant acidity, leaving a medium finish. A really enjoyable grower Champagne that I will seek out again.

Bought from auction with an excellent fill level but signs of slightly leakage through the capsule. Cork was very crumbly and broke apart completely even with Durant.
Deep ruby colour, pale at the rim. Aromatic nose of blackcurrant leaf.
Quite closed on the palette on opening but with some time opened up with delicious flavours of raspberry, earth, chocolate, cassis, some florals and still showing some grippy tannins. A medium length finish with some notes of spice and caramel revealing the age of the wine.
Really enjoyable Christmas day wine with Roast beef.

At a nice point now, approaching full maturity.
