On the palate, the wine tastes of orange and lemon, with an interesting white pepper streak that runs through the long finish. The wine is moderately structured with powdery tannins from the skin contact. A very interesting wine; at its best around 55 - 60 degrees F.

Transparent ruby with slight bricking. Super strong nose of roses, with black earth, truffles and a hint of old books lurking in the background. Pure red fruit is front and center on the palate - raspberry, red currant. Dusty rose petals. Light but lingering acidity over the remaining fine tannins. An elegant and complete wine; very enjoyable to drink over the course of an evening.
