Amazingly, this wine would be a great ringer in a blind Burg tasting. Scents of cinnamon, clove, sweet cherries and a dash of minerals, yes minerals, give this a very atypical look of what can be acconplished in California. Excellent balance and purity, medium depth and persistence in the finish. Not overripe, but subtle, quite fine and lively. Reminds me of Pavelots Dominode...just superb.

Just a solid wine. Nothing more to add from previous impressions. Lemony, floral, dry and just a delight to drink. (I just reloaded on another 12 pack of splits). I give the wine a 91, but the nose 95 points.

Surprisingly good. This has really evolved into a great wine. The nose has loads of coffee, leather, cigar ash, blackberries and earth. Mouth filling and long in the finish, this is becoming a pleasant and complete wine. Most notable, compared to previous bottles, its tannins have softened and the wine has developed a certain silkiness to it. I only have a couple left...I think it could use a few more years. Delicious stuff.
