Old school style from a classic and iconic producer. Mature and open for business. Vibrant and so well balanced from a somewhat warm vintage. Excellent pairing with a variety of puff pastry mini pizzas (asparagus with creme fraiche, mushrooms with Parmigiano-lemon zest creme and goat cheese with onion compote). Such a versatile wine. Will easily hold for years to come.

Very much in the new style of Bierzo from the school of Raul Perez, who Veronica Ortega has worked with and is influenced by. One hour decant.
Red fruits driven, freshness and a deep core. Low tannins and soft alcohol. Very delicate and extremely well balanced.
Ready to go right now and structurally, I don't see why I should cellar my remaining bottles for long. This doesn't seem like a wine built for the long haul in the cellar.
The structure is already in a well balanced place, so it will mainly be for the aroma profile to develop more tertiary notes, that this wine should be cellared. And I am worried if the wine has the structure for this.
Nonetheless this is a very beautiful wine that went well with grilled lamb rack, fried gnocchi and white port wine glaze.

Juicy, pure, smooth and so elegant.
