Very slow and viscous legs here. I had Coravined this bottle probably two years ago, and there were no signs of oxidation whatsoever. The nose is quite open right off the bat. Dark cherries, chocolate and a hint of cola on the nose; the oak influence is pretty obvious. On the palate this is still quite well balanced and overall performing much better than my last bottle tasted in 2011 - very dark flavor profile, structurally very alive and kicking with good acidity and tannins on the finish, really long aftertaste reminiscent a bit of blood oranges. The mid-palate just has been robbed of some... beauty? Expressiveness of fruit? But I may open my last bottle of this with some Boeuf Bourguignon once the weather chills up some more.

Had this earlier this year (I think) so it's been a while already, but still this was a shocking wine - this cost probably max 50 FRF when it was bought in around 1998, and it's completely alive and singing still today. Complex and totally harmonious, a real joy to drink. How many other wine regions could produce wines that are this cheap and perform superbly after 20 years?

This seemed quite young and wound up in comparison to the Guillot and the Domaine. Great potential though.
