At first the aroma is attractive. Ripe blackberries and ink, typical of Roussillon. However, it fades quite quickly and there is a confected caramel that reminds me of wines made with oak additives.
The palate has ripe fruit and acidity but it feels a bit false. The flavour lasts only a short while before it disappears.
I think it's a good wine for a barbeque party. The high alcohol of 14.5% is being concealed by acidity (probably added). It gets less pleasant the more I drink it.

Nice but subtle nose of wild berries and herbs. Palate has good balance and nice fruit but a little bit simple compared to other Languedoc wines of this age.

Golden colour. Some nice oxidised noyes on the nose alongside ripe pears and mandarin. Lovely complex flavours of ripe citrus fruits. Perhaps lacking the acidity of other vintages. Palate feels a little hot (15% alc) at first but seemed to die down later in the bottle.
