great import from Kermit Lynch and drink while it's fresh but not too cold. A bit too much fruit for me for a Frenchie but that's the region. Good blend of varietals and wonderful nose as it warms up while drinking - even better when open for a bit. Only $11 from our store

we had it tonight indoors as it was a bit hot outside and needed to break it out. An odd sugary sediment in the bottle and for sure too fruity for my old world palate. Ok with the cheese and crackers before dinner, and meant to be consumed in the hot Paso Robles climes. Could have been better considering the price this place charges. juice for the masses?

The four of us had a magnum of 2005 Prisoner at Taylor's in La Canada last night. Bottle was fresh out of storage that morning and about 65 F. Poured straight out of bottle over the course of the evening. Somewwhat subdued flavors but very very smooth with almost no tannins left, hints of chocolate and light on the fruit. Got better as the night when on. Reminded us of a Bordeaux not a zin blend. Worth the wait, but better start drinking the rest of it.
