Carrying a subtle nose of young pear, lemon juice, green grass, and white peach, it was both familiar and unique and able to withstand spicy, bold flavors. I would have preferred a little more residual sugar, but I admire that it didn't rely on an overly wood-heavy flavor or oakiness to make itself palatable and that it maintained the classic Riesling flavors while adding a clever twist.

Rich on the palate yet unfortunately unexpansive and somewhat confined to the same set of flavors and scents. It's not austere, but it's also not too nuanced. The flip side to this cork is that it's very safe and approachable and an excellent example of entry-level German Riesling for someone looking to stray from the Pinot Grigio side of life.

A honeyed edge brimming with orange zest and a persistently peachy undertone all alongside a zippy acidity keeping us on our toes in the wee hours of the night. An easy drinker, like the rest, somewhat stilted in complexity for now and a bit harsh, but I'm confident that this can only improve with time. Its airy, acidic nose with mineral-heavy, saline base notes tantalized me more than its flavor, but it still carries the classic Wiemer Riesling profile of lime, apricot, orange, and salt.
