8/22/2016 9:28:00 AM - PSirah, thanks for reaching out. I see that you do have quite a collection. Being on the sunset side of life, I'm down to a third of what use to be. Although my wife can consume every day, I'm at about 3-4 nights a week. Our favorites are deep heavy reds; and my favorite vineyard is Vincent Arroyo--with Rafanelli being a close second. Reach out if I can be of help.

4/21/2014 6:14:00 PM - Thanks PSirah Tampa, for posting your answer concerning protruding corks. Yesterday, Easter Sunday I was invited to dinner @ my brothers. Decided to bring a '59 Latour and a '97 d'Yquem. Guests had no knowledge of wines. The '59 was a hit. I bought it an auction in 2011, It was in a temp controlled cellar from '66-2011. The cork was 2.5mm protruded. But the wine was still flawless. I thought it was heat, but now I know it could have been air pressure. Thanks for the info

8/5/2013 5:09:00 AM - CT Secret Santa present - might be the rarest of all of the bottles we own. Heard from Tpety that a bit of age works well with it so we're letting it sit. Perhaps if we do a coldest day of the year offline it can make an appearance :-)
