Filtered through metal coffee filter (used only for wine), drank from decanter (chemex, also only for wine) but did not give much time to aerate. Had with duck confit. Showed an unexpected amount of fruit, acid, and freshness. Tannins fully integrated. With caveats, lacking in concentration, complexity, length, and tertiary aromas/flavours. It was enjoyable, but felt more like a weeknight dinner wine than a Sunday duck confit wine. That being said, the last sip was the best and it seemed to be switching into a new and improved gear. My sense was that another 30m in the decanter and the wine would have shown more in the lacking areas and might have scored 90, at a stretch 91. I have a second bottle and will decant in a wide decanter for an hour and report back

    88-89 pts.

I've tried two bottles of the six I have, each time I felt it was too young and would benefit from some cellar time. How much I cannot say, but I plan to leave alone for at least two years. I last opened about a week ago along with others wines, and everyone agreed that with time in the decanter, the wine became more balanced and enjoyable.

Not ready to leave a rating, but some information for others who might be looking at this wine. My general sense was that this has the potential to be a good value, especially considering the current Burg prices. I remember feeling like there was a high level of fruit concentration, and while not unpleasant, it gave me the sense that this wine would benefit from time in the cellar to come into better balance. I've had one of the six I purchased, and plan to monitor this space for any other notes, and taste again in one or two years. I'm new to aging wines in my own cellar, but my gut says this is going to turn out well.
