Ungsteiner Weilberg is one of the most historic vineyards of the Palatinate where almost 2000 years ago Roman settlers founded a winery and brought viticulture to the region. The yield lies at a very low 19 hl/ha. The grapes were handpicked, carefully selected, gently pressed and slowly fermented. The wine shows a great variety of fruit aromas, racy, but elegant acidity and a complex body.

Since 1800. The estate is a recognized pioneer in ecological viticulture. Nowadays all wines produced are from organically grown grapes! Bright and clear. Lemon cream accented with peach kernel and toasted hazelnut.

We referred this wine as “GM” – General Manager class of wine. Enjoy this limited treasurer! Very difficult for you to find another wine with this quality at this price range. Recommend you to open at least half to one hour in advance before enjoyment. Terry Theise (Wine Advocate: One of the Most Influential Wine Personalities of the Last 20 Years; Wine & Spirits Buying Guide’s 2001 Man of the Year): One of the two TOP of the TOP wineries in Germany.
