Subtle, reserved, finesse with vibrancy. Perfect 7 year storm wine paired with turkey tetrazzini...lets get some more. Bottle age has treated this wine well. 13 years with good depth, strong mouthfeel and sufficient acid to handle mushrooms, pancetta and cream. Subdued nose at first opens to fairly large blossom of garnet friut, blackberry spice. In my mind the critique that this vintage at MA is past its prime was spoken too soon. Well done MA.

Right out of the bottle, i was nervous. Deep golden color and strong oak smell, almost corked. After 30 minutes this subdued and left a powerful chardonnay still fun of oak and ripe fruit, powered by full bodied aromas and long mouthfeel. I would say it peaked about a year ago, but was still worth holding on to experience with a little more bottle age. Drank with slow roasted halibut, Kung Fu Girl Riesling reduction, roasted carrots, snow peas, melted leeks and a side of capellini. Nice Sat dinner with sturdy SRH chardonnay. Glad to have had 6 bottles of this Two Sisters wine over the last 4 years.
