Received this bottle a couple years ago in a silent auction basket. 8 years was probably too long to cellar, but the screw top kept it from turning/(corking)? Very dark, almost amber color, which made us suspicious. Very sweet nose of golden raisins. Nutty, woody, toffee, caramel hints in flavor, with a surprisingly dry finish. If nothing else, this bottle has renewed my appreciation for screw tops, despite my affinity for corks.
