Very nice, bright, lots of citrus. Drank well with fois gras, and also with preserved lemon & chicken. 2012 still my favorite recent vintage, but this one is good.

A bright, fresh drinking wine — bright citrus, especially lemon and lime — a pleasure to drink on a hot day. I liked it better on its own than with food. Its distinctive flavor faded with with food each time we tried it.
The delightful wine seller in Vezelay at Les Caves de Pelèun told us the wine is made by a small family domaine, and called “le Nez de Muse” with a dog on the label because they know the grapes are ripe when the family dog starts to eat the grapes off the vine!
