This is the worst Australian wine that I have ever had at least in the past 6 years, and ultimately I poured half a bottle to the toilet. Bordeaux like aroma, but that is gone in 20 minutes after pouring into glass; then it smells like sour juice. Light to medium body, boring leaf and wood came with very much diluted black fruit juice. Ultimately the fruit gone and replaced by the tastes of Bordeaux AOC costs US$8-10 kind of taste. I transferred the wine to a half-bottle after opening it for 30 minutes for tasting again the next day - to give it and my taste buds a second chance. I filled up almost the top of the bottle to minimize effect of air resulting in oxidation. The next day the wine becomes very sour like unripe red fruits and barely drinkable. I wanted to keep that for cooking but I am worried that it will ruin my dish. So I just poured it down the toilet. Waste of money - I bought that at HK$198 (USD25 / GBP20 / AUS34). I could get a very decent second label of Bordeaux grand cru classé of good vintage, or a very nice Kaesler Bogan / Chapel Hill or similar as this price. This wine worths 1/3 of its selling price only.
