deep, rich, primary, bubblegum style wine for those who like that style. to me it tasted disjointed, not integrated or smooth. the 12 years of age didn't appear to soften tannins, or add complexity. quite disappointed considering the cost. on the plus side, there was still plenty of fruit left, so maybe more aging is required.

Nice nose of leather and cedar, but very lean in the mouth. Classic example of Bordeaux smelling better than it tastes. Mid palate fades quickly. Fruit density lacking.
