First day: color is med/dark red with the faintest hint of brick on the rim. black cherry, stewed red fruit, baking spice, clove, tomato and mushroom...
Second day: funk is gone! bright red currant, and rasberry, solid structure, earth, silk and acidity. Roses and chocolate raisins.
Lots of sediment. Very interesting and delicious wine. Squid ink pasta, short rib, and salad. Super dark chocolate goes well with this too.

Zinfandel, syrah and petite sirah mixed with the bordeaux varietals. This complex blend brings out red currant, lavender, black currant leaves, and sandalwood with a touch of pink rose on the palate. Velvety mouthfeel, amazing structure with the perfect bit of gripping acidity. Long, juicy finish. Fowl is fine, but pork chops beckon to this wine.

Rich white. Silky mouthfeel, medium body, melon and honey notes, bouquet includes a bit (not much) of anise. White flowers and decent acidity.
