Good not great. 90 minute decant. Age showing in color, bricking and bouquet. Smooth attack, multiple flavors on the palate but primary only. Nice finish, 20 seconds, but not mega hit wonder. Has a sweetness to it. Mixture of red and dark fruits, Enjoyable with or without food. Medium body. Questionable QPR at sale price of $129. I love that I bought it aged, directly from the winery. Nice to be able to drink it immediately, but I would not recommend purchase at full price ($150+). Drink up in the next two years.

Wow, this is ready for prime time. Beautiful nose; much more aromatic than most cabs. Deep dark fruits, especially blackberry. Layers of flavor on the palate, and a smooth dark chocolate finish that lingers 30 seconds or more. Still tannic, this could go much longer. The 2014 was Wine Spectator’s #8 wine of the year in 2017. A heck of a good QPR at current market price.

Just now finally coming into its drinking window. It needed a 90 minute decant, and then was beautiful. No hurry though; this has years to go.
