My 2nd time drinking this; each time after 4 to 6 hours in-the-bottle decant. It has impressed each time! Medium-dark garnet color. Medium to medium-full body and elegant. 2010 is chunky compared to this. Nose of cherry, some raspberry and a whiff of dark balsam note and vanilla. Flavor in the medium-ripe cherry spectrum with faint vanilla and licorice spice. Nice, fresh and smooth with fine round tannin and medium acidity. It went superbly with roast duck! Yum! No hurry though and this can easily go for 10!

Opened, poured out half and, after 1 hour, poured back into the bottle for a 12-hour slow decant. Drank for 2.5 hours over dinner with lamb rack. Light pale crimson. Medium-full body and elegant. Nose of intense floral perfume with rose, mint and ripe cherry that never quit over the night. Palate of pretty red cherry fruit with well judged fresh acidity and balanced fine soft tannin that both coat and cleanse the tongue. The nose and flavor just got better and better with each sip till the last. James Sucking got it right on this one by awarding it 95 pts! What a value!
