1+ hours in the decanter. Deep ruby silk in the glass. Medicinal aniseed spice on the nose. Ripe fruit, dried sour cherries but with somehow a sweetness. Complex with lots going on but at the same time feels youthful still lots of tannins despite being 12 years old. Interesting and enjoyable. 1 of 6. Looking forward to the rest but will wait.

Golden green. Pineapple, lemon fruit flavours on the nose. Some oak but a long mineral, saline finish. Lovely drinking white from the Cape of Good Hope. Need to add more to my cellar so I can see how this develops over next 10 years

Pale gold & green in the glass. Minerality and slightly salty on the nose. Lots of legs in the glass. Full acidity in the mouth balanced by citrus flavours of lime and kiwi. Style is some where between the minerality of a French Sauvignon and the more tropical New Zealand style. Will wait a few years for the next bottle. Interested to see how the flavours evolve with some age. Good for the price.
