Colour: dark red with purple hue. Bouquet: exhibits violets, cassis, dark berry fruit with overtones of oak. Palate: the mid-weight palate shows excellent flavour and structure with rich fruit and fine grained tannins. The finish is long and flavoursome.

Undecided about this wine. The 2015 being drunk in 2018, there was not much fruit coming out in the flavour, it was very restrained, quite perfumed but that wasn't translating on to the palate. Mid-bodied at best. BUT... it is a cab and it does taste as if it is holding on to its flavour. Would be interesting to have one in about 15 years time. Little justice is served to this wine by drinking it so young. I do wonder whether the winery does a cellar release system so that you could buy vintages this wine at 10 years plus in age!?
