Very subtle on the nose and palate. Recommend letting it warm up to 45F-50F before anything starts to appear. And even then, very subtle. Clean and crisp. Day 2, improvement. Acidity really shined through. Drank on Day 1 with food, Day 2 without. I feel that this wine is better enjoyed by itself.

Cassis, pencil lead on the nose. Cherry and leather on the palate. Very good on day one. High alcohol showed through on the second day, with heat masking some of the previous day’s flavors.

Completely agree. We are pretty lucky to have some great wineries within a couple hours drive, both north and south(though I haven’t done the southern ones yet).
Not sure where you live in Phx(I’m in Tatum Ranch) but if you get a chance, check out Merkin's in Old Town and both Spiga and Eddie Merlot's(Pinnacle Peak and Scottsdale Rds) have great wine lists.
Cheers!

2019 Quivira Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley

I agree with the Cyclist. Dry Creek Valley is my goto for Zinfandel. Great balance on the palate, and a good choice with dinner tonight-Ribeye.
