Very subtle on the nose and palate. Recommend letting it warm up to 45F-50F before anything starts to appear. And even then, very subtle. Clean and crisp.
Day 2, improvement. Acidity really shined through. Drank on Day 1 with food, Day 2 without. I feel that this wine is better enjoyed by itself.

I agree with the Cyclist. Dry Creek Valley is my goto for Zinfandel. Great balance on the palate, and a good choice with dinner tonight-Ribeye.

We are pretty lucky to have some great wineries within a couple hours drive, both north and south(though I haven’t done the southern ones yet). Not sure where you live in Phx(I’m in Tatum Ranch) but if you get a chance, check out Merkin's in Old Town and both Spiga and Eddie Merlot's(Pinnacle Peak and Scottsdale Rds) have great wine lists. Cheers!
