Holy moly was this made in a modern fashion. While it was a quality juicy and well balanced wine with obvious but enjoyable wood, it could have been from anywhere. If you're looking for an enjoyable bottle to have with dinner and not thing about, go for it. However, if you're looking for Etna volcano terrior, move on. I enjoyed it, but can not feel a little dead inside that another international style made with a potentially interesting grape found its way to the marketplace.

either in a dumb phase or an off bottle. There was a distinct lack of fruit, the other bottles opened over the last year (6mos to a year ago) were much more aromatic.
