I checked in on this one and it is doing great! A bit expensive, but I still wish I had more. Oak is starting to integrate into the wine to create a pine smell. Still has a bit of youthful fat, but no harshness in the tannins. It has a wonderful black pepper smell and I think I picked up a hint of eucalyptus. I wish I had more of the first wine from Staglin. Bravo!

Smoldering black fruits with a long finish. It has been a couple of years since I have tasted and it is in prime drinking condition. The tannins have softened, but the fruit remains strong. Good stuff.
