This interesting take on a blend of Rhone types is a bit heavier in Syrah than those mixed variety wines tend to be, but it achieves many of the same qualities in ripe, slightly soft architecture and in its fruity red berry/black fruit composite character. Smooth in feel with modest tannins, it needs no aging to be enjoyed but will support some."

Ripe and distinctive for its gamy, spicy character, a fleshy Shiraz with fine tannins wrapped around the generous berry and licorice flavors at the core. Finishes long. – Wine Spectator 90 points. Wine & Spirits 93 points. Noticeable acidity and tannin, with black cherry, blackberry, and blueberry. Finishes both dry and fruity."
