Last bottle of a long ago acquired case at the winery during a barrel tasting weekend. So glad I held on. Served at a party and everyone raved - I got a taste....beautiful depth, fruit forward, but with smoothness I do not recall from previous bottles. Wish I had more.

I get a case of both Domaine de Marquiliani's roses every year and this year she has outdone herself on the Corse Rose....beautiful, full mouthfeel that you wouldn't guess from looking at the color. Wonderfully acidic, floral notes, watermelon on the tongue.

I haven't had a Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Chardonnay in many years - they were much too oaky and buttery for my tastes. This one (tasted at the winery) is much more French style with a good balance of acid. Much more subtle and elegant than my past experience with SL Chards. Tasting room folks told me they had a new winemaker and had moved in a new direction. Loved this one!
