This finally aged enough to be enjoyable. Very nice Cab Franc that goes with anything in a casual setting. Needs some air (gave it about 90 minutes) but the fruit shows and it went very well with a whole assortment of Mediterranean stuff. Not going to knock your socks off but a good value every day wine.

Big wine in the style of Andy Erickson. Cassis/blueberry, violets, chocolate and spice. Good acidity/freshness. This can age well but can be consumed now with air. I opened 2 hours before dinner (steak, what else?) and at about the 1 hour mark this was opening up. Better after 2 hours.

I recall thinking this is a pretty bottle and avoiding it because I thought you’re paying for the label artwork. I was wrong. This is actually a really good champagne. Drinking much better than last time (maybe a year ago?). I actually think this a good value, despite the 3 figure price tag. The
