Found this around the time I was planning to open an Amon-Ra and figured I'd go head to head with them, expecting the Ra to outshine its elderly cousin.
In fact, the opposite was true. While this wasn't a hugely structured wine, the most pleasing aspect was the lush, soft mouthfeel and the ripe red fruit. Amazing at the price.

Really interesting example of this wine, I loved it, everyone else loved it. My thoughts were all over the place, so I'm going to need another go at this stuff. The nose was elusive. At times floral and light, then pure cab. Huge in the mouth, I chewed every sip. Great structure and depth, made me think of cassis and candy.

GAAAAAR! Green pepper bomb! No mas! This bottle smells like the mise en place for a fajita dinner!
Aside from that, a nicely made cab. But stink is stink. I wouldn't bang Kate Upton if she smelled like a homeless rummy.
