Bottle was a bit syrupy sweet and "raisiny" with some smoky after-notes upon first opening, but as it breathed for about an hour and warmed up just a bit from cellar temp, the wine really opened up. It became a cornucopia of fruit flavors: pineapple, apricot, orange, tangerine, and honey with a very long sweet finish that didn't seem syrupy at all. This was an amazing bottle to finish an extraordinary dinner after several hours spent reorganizing a friend's cellar.

Very solid pinot. It was a bit lighter than prior bottles I've had from A to Z, but still had some distinctive complexity that sets it out from a standard cherry/berry pinot. Though it had good, solid berry and red cherry flavors at its root, it was complimented with earthiness and cinnamon spice after-notes more common in Oregon. It needed to breathe for a couple of hours though to fully develop all of the spiciness I've recalled in prior bottles.

Unimpressive, but solid champagne. Slightly bitter and dry. Not bad for the price though.
