Nose: subdued mushrooms and sour cherry. Tasting: somewhat roustique and floral onset, but not in a bad way. Good acid and length - red with some green notes, but still the fruit sweetness to balance it. Minerals, mushroom.

According to website: Kimmeridgian, clay-limestone-soil. South-east exposure. 25 year vines. Cold settling before fermentation. Both yeast and malolactic fermentations in small tanks and barrels. Approximately 12 months on fine lees in tanks and barrels.
Nose: very fruit-forward, especially after some airing, yellow, some tropical notes, honey.
Taste: also very fruit-forward, prominent yellow and tropical from onset. Keeps intensity towards finish, and length is nice and mineralistic. The acid makes this an interesting wine, although buttery, oaky notes might be slightly too prominent at this young age. Not a very subtle wine, but I would consider it balanced, nevertheless, and alcohol level is not an issue.

Nice mouth feel and nutty notes. But would want less alcohol and more acid from a wine like this
